International Conference, freely opened to all interesting: representatives of Regional, National and International organizations, researches policy makers, journalists, SMEs or other members of private business sectors.
New pathways for increasing agricultural productivity in Africa require an ecologic transformation of agriculture as suggested by the strategic framework of Horizon 2020 to encompass traditional agro-industrial productivity and an obsolete agri-business economy. A support action for spread Horizon strategy of research and innovation of agricultural transformation in Africa needs to explicit the challenging perspective of green economy and blue-ocean revolution.
NUTRA-AFRICA project’s innovation and conference aim to share new models of economic and social growth, both for Europe and Africa, based on the sustainability of agricultural production, which includes: improving food nutritional quality, ensuring food security, managing climate changes, increasing the productivity of soil, reducing deforestation.
GOALS
- Enhancing Horizon 2020 new challenges & opportunities between Europe and Africa
- Finding innovation pathways for Ecological Agriculture and drop down food insecurity
THEMES
- Strengthening capacity building’s alliances for transforming Agro food productivity
- Developing criteria and capacity for modernizing agriculture
- Building competency networks in modernizing agro-food to overcome hunger and malnutrition
- Growing resilience between Agriculture-Nutrition and Health within a gender approach.
- Advancing in bio-green economy and blue-ocean innovation priorities in Africa
