The school and academic calendars for 2015/16

Back to school: Eurydice publishes the school and academic calendars for 2015/16

Summer is over and it’s time to go back to school. Today the primary school year starts in 15 countries participating in the Eurydice Network. But in 10 countries pupils and teachers have already been back in the usual rhythm for several weeks. Indeed the timing of school year varies between different countries and regions more than you may imagine because of differences in culture, tradition, and climate. In two Eurydice special reports on the school and academic calendars, you’ll find information that shows how the year in European schools and universities is organised. The information is available for 37 countries.
